i am on exercise in Jersey with the British army, i am part of a shooting club with the UK, at Preston Grasshoppers shooting club, am i able to attend your club to keep up my skills while on exercise, I deploy on the 24th June 2018 and till 6th July, i am able to to bring my shooting record as well as passport and CRB if required.
Unfortunately, the only weekend that would fit in with your time in the Island is the 30th June/1st July, and those two days form part of a scheduled Open Championship that is running from the 28th June to 30th July, and as the club only runs general shooting sessions on Saturdays 14:00 to 16:00 and Sunday Mornings 10:00 till 13:00 we could not accommodate you on this occasion.

I am coming over to Jersey to see my brother and his family for a week from6/6/19, I am a member of a club here in UK and hold a fire arms certificate and was wondering if I could come and try pistol shooting as unable to do it here?

No problem, club is open on Saturday PM 14:00-16:00 & Sunday AM 10:00 to 13:00, just turn up with your provisional member application do the mandatory safety brief and go onto one of our ranges and shoot under supervision, unfortunately you will be restricted to .22lr pistol, unless you can demonstrate your expertise.
