Pocket Pistol Competition

Pocket Pistol Match Recap – Jersey Pistol Club, 15 June 2025

The Jersey Pistol Club delivered a thrilling Pocket Pistol competition on Sunday, 15 June 2025, at the 25m Bob Blake Range. With seven competitors ready to test their skills, the event offered a showcase of steady hands, sharp eyes, and nerves of steel across two demanding 30 shot stages: Precision and Rapid Fire.

The day began with the Precision stage, where yet again Andrew Ruellan set the bar high, landing a remarkable 297 out of 300. Close behind was last years trophy holder Keith Videgrain (293) and both Ben Videgrain & Alice Ruellan (286), setting the stage for a tight contest.

It was the Rapid Fire stage that truly shaped the podium. Keith yet again kept his cool and scored 276 and finished with final score of 569 to take the top spot yet again, Ben meanwhile posted a 280 to finish with 566 just three point behind his father,  Andrew however had a slight wobble in the rapid series and posted a score of 251 to take third place with 548.

The event buzzed with focus, discipline, and competitive spirit throughout. With seven talented shooters pushing their limits, the 2025 Pocket Pistol match proved once again why it remains a marquee highlight on the Jersey Pistol Club calendar.
