ISSF Standard Pistol Rules and Course of Fire

The following are the rules, regulations, and course of fire governing the ISSF Standard Pistol Competitions held by the Jersey Pistol Club.

Pistols:
  • Any .22 pistol or revolver, which complies with current ISSF regulations for this event
Targets:
  • International 50 metre Precision Pistol
Shooting Distances:
  • 25 metres
Rules:
  • This competition will be conducted in the spirit of current ISSF regulations
  • Each competitor is deemed to know the course of fire and the regulations relating to the pistols and conduct of the competition
Course of Fire:
  • Three (3) consecutive courses of twenty (20) shots each.
  • Each course consists of four (4), five (5) shot, series
    • Four (4) series of five (5) shots, with each series completed in one hundred and fifty (150) seconds
    • Four (4) series of five (5) shots, with each series completed in twenty (20) seconds
    • Four (4) series of five (5) shots, with each series completed in ten (10) seconds
  • Before the competition begins a series of sighting shots may be fired within a time limit of 150 seconds
