JPC Police Pistol 1/ Service B Competition

Today we held the Police Pistol 1 & Service B Competitions on our 50m range.
A total of eight competitors, three in Class A and five in Class B turned out to try and get their hands on some silverware. In Class A The Eric Ellis Trophy & Class B The Dora Ellis Shield.

We started with the Police Pistol 1 Comp, a 30 shot match, with targets at distances from 25m,15m & 10m.
Practice 1, 25m: 12 shots in 2 minutes(to Include reloading) Practice 2, 15m: 12 shots in strings of 6, targets will make 6 appearances of 2 seconds with intervals of about 5 seconds, one shot to be fired at each appearance. This practice will be shot twice.
Practice 3, 10m: 6 shots. The target will make 3 appearances of 2 seconds with intervals of about 5 seconds, two shots to be fired at each appearance of the target.

Our second competition of the afternoon was Service Pistol B. In Class A The Gallichan Shield and in Class B The Gallichan Class B Trophy.  This is a 24 shot match, with targets at distances from 25m, 20m 15m & 10m.

Practice 1 25m: 6 shots on the left hand target in 15 seconds. Practice 2 20m: 6 shots 3 on each target in 10 seconds. Practice 3 15m: The target will make three appearance of 3 seconds, two shots to be fired at each appearance. Practice 4 10m: 3 shots on each target in 6 seconds.
