JPC v BDMP v UK FULLBORE OPEN PISTOL CHAMPIONSHIP 2023

JPC held their Fullbore Open Pistol Championship 2023 on the JPC ranges from Thursday 27th to Saturday 29th July. This year there were teams from BDMP(Germany) , SLG Bisley e.v (UK-Germany)., Guernsey & JPC. The events included in this championship are as follows , 1500, PP2, PP1, Service Pistol B, 9mm, Pocket Pistol, (Individual & Pairs matches, Team Challenge) over a course of three days, making it a truly great event . The Team from Germany were (David Brandenberger, Dietmar Hoenersch, Sven Rohde, Daniel Blagojevic, Jessica Eggers & Anne Milke. The Team from SLG Bisley e.v. ( Steve Lamb, Jacky Lamb, Dave Harris, Andy Pain, John Bibby) The solo Team member from Guernsey( Andy Torode) & The JPC Team ( Ben Videgrain, Keith Videgrain, Sumit Singh, Chris Garbutt, Barry Walsh. There were also two individual entries, Alain Cabaret & Anindya Mohinta.

The event started off on Thursday with the 1500 a 150 shot match, although the weather wasn’t on our side we all made the most of the conditions & had a great day at the range.

Friday morning we started off with the PP2 match, followed by PP1, Service B on the 50m range then switched to our 25m range for the 9mm and Pocket Pistol matches.

Saturday was the Team Challenge Match which would due to the lower number of entries, be teams of three, and include the Police Pistol 1 & Service B Matches
